GAME OBJECTIVE
Be the first to shout a word that matches the letter tile on the table and the card being read!
HOW TO WIN
You earn one point for each letter tile you collect. Before you start playing, agree on how many points are needed to win. If you're 2–4 players, we recommend playing to 15 points. If you're 5–6 players, we recommend playing to 10 points.
HOW TO PLAY
- The player with the most letters in their name goes first.
- Draw 5 random letter tiles from the box and place them on the table.
- Then draw a card (without showing it to the other players) and choose whether to use the party or trivia side.
- Flip the hourglass and read the card out loud.
- All players now try to come up with words that start with one of the letters on the table and match the question. Grab the tile as you shout out your word!
- Keep going until all the tiles are taken or time runs out.
- Fortsett til alle brikkene på bordet er tatt, eller til tiden har rent ut.
- The next player then draws 5 new letter tiles. Any leftover tiles from the previous round stay on the table.
THE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES
The game comes with two categories on each side of the card: one trivia and one party alternative.
The trivia cards usually have a clear answer, like “Words ending in E.”.
The party cards leave more room for creativity. If a card says “Something you can lick” then it’s really just your imagination that sets the limits. It’s up to you to decide what counts as a valid answer, and what doesn’t!
OTHER
- You're not allowed to grab a tile and wait too long before saying your answer. If you do, the tile must be placed back on the table, and you’re not allowed to take that same tile again in the same round.
- If two players grab the same tile at the same time and answer almost simultaneously, it’s up to the other players to decide who was first.
